When your tech breaks, it’s Asurion to the rescue. The company helps thousands of people every day, all over the world with their personal technology. When Hastings Architects began the design of Asurion’s new 565,000 sf global headquarters in Nashville, they brought us on board to weave the company’s story of help through the building’s public and work spaces, inspiring visitors as well as the Asurion workforce. The new Gulch Hub encompasses two nine-story connected towers and six levels of parking.
Work spaces feature a series of 30 original wall illustrations that imagine how Asurion might have helped historic—as well as contemporary—figures. 3d printed floor numbers each feature a different way that Asurion fixes your tech, from busted screens to faulty circuit boards. A dimensional timeline parallels Asurion’s evolution with that of the cell phone. In a nod to the company’s Nashville roots, we collaborated with the city’s iconic Hatch Show Print to create a set of custom posters to paper feature walls.
