In two expansive food halls, identification was needed for a multitude of food vendors. The sign system was designed to reflect the culinary variety on offer but also provide cohesion. To create the underlying consistency a single typeface is used throughout, but with a wide range of weights and styles. Close collaboration with Graham Baba Architects meant that the color and material palettes knitted together signage, furnishings, and graphics for an inviting experience.

The theme ‘urban food’ inspired the original black and white illustrations that weave throughout the space. Food references here, there, and everywhere pop up in cityscapes that also feature some familiar landmarks throughout the world.
