Seattle’s new Center for Architecture and Design asked us to design the exhibition that would launch them to the public: FitNation Seattle. The heart of the exhibition content was a series of local and national case study projects demonstrating how thoughtful architecture and design can promote a healthy and active community. Building on this, we created an experience to get visitors active as well as inspired. Participants could join in a rousing game of ping pong dialogue about topics shaping Seattle’s future, use a jump rope to measure just how walkable Seattle can be, or flex their design skills by contributing sketches of what they’d like to see in their neighborhoods.
