Path with Art fosters the restoration of people from the effects of trauma through arts engagement and community-building. For their new artHOME on Seattle’s busy Mercer Street, our goal was to integrate signage and graphics that create an engaging, inspiring environment for both participant artists and staff—while amplifying and celebrating individual voices.

Facing Seattle Center with its many nighttime venues, we used light as a strategy to gently announce and celebrate the new space. Rather than feeling commercial, the lighting and language is intentional and expressive—reflecting the thoughtfulness of artHOME’s programming.

Inside, a layered material palette—including warm wood and tactile finishes—creates an atmosphere that feels welcoming and human. The result is a space that invites the community in, offering a sense of belonging even before they reach the front door.
