12th Avenue Arts is a mixed use residential, retail and theater space in Seattle’s Capitol Hill arts corridor. The upper floors provide housing for low-income residents, while the public spaces below include eateries and two venues for small theater companies. The spaces serve smaller, theater companies who don’t have their own dedicated performance spaces. During the day, the full 12th Avenue Arts name is prominent, but after dark, as the theater spaces come to life to welcome patrons, “ARTS” alone illuminates directly over the entrance.
