Power Play
Client: The Crown Estate, Thames Estuary Partnership
Power Play was designed to educate school children and families living along the River Thames about the benefit of sustainable wind power to provide energy to local communities. We collaborated with an engineer/fabricator to devise a travelling display – including a functioning wind turbine – that could pack down into two rolling suitcases. If we were promoting smart energy use, it was critical that Power Play could get around by public transport, but still pack a visual punch on arrival.
