Business School installations close to launch

After two years of development, two permanent design installations in the brand new UW Foster School of Business are close to completion. Along with co-designer Karen Cheng, we’ve been on hand to oversee installation and hold our breath as it all comes together. Watch this space for pics of the finished works, coming very soon.

Open to Question in new location

The Open to Question exhibition has been shifted to a featured location on UW campus, in front of Meany Theater and By George cafe. Thousands of students, staff and visitors commute into campus past this point every day. Check it out when you are next on campus and add your comment to the chalkboard door. Attention for The Want Store concept, developed in Kristine’s University of Washington Environmental Design course, snowballed throughout 2009:

It was included in the August issue of Print magazine, and was a finalist in the prestigious Adobe Achievement Awards, who flew student team leader Francis Luu to Beijing for the award ceremony. Kudos to Francis, Terry, Ivy and Donica!
